Great friendships should help ground you while enabling you to soar to the most daunting of heights. They provide solace while nudging you to break out into the light. They offer love even when they know the dark.
You cannot fail if you have the truest of people that surround you.

This weekend we had our second annual gathering of Ryan’s friends at the lake.
It is a testament to my son’s character to have his friends wanting to continue to have a relationship with us and to honour him.
I yearn for the stories and find comfort in the connections.
