“Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.” ~ Anthony Brandt

In the last 15 months, I have learned that family isn’t necessarily just the people you were born into nor the place that you call home.

Family are the people who love and support you. The ones who will fight not just for you but along side you no matter the difficulty of the battle. They sit quietly in your grief and celebrate your successes.

Family gives you the strength to soar above the constraints that have you tethered because you know, deep in your being, that there is always someone that will catch you if you fall.

No family doesn’t have to be who you were born to … just who you couldn’t imagine the world without.
