As the week here at Sun Peaks quickly comes to an end, I wanted send out some housekeeping items before we head home on Monday.
The searching will still continue. During the week, we actively encourage anyone that is willing and able to search to come up. Areas to search? There is nothing specific at the moment. We suggest that people take the opportunity to hike trails and the area. We will update everyone on areas of interest as they come. Not sure about Hiking trails? The Sun Peaks have that information available.

Anything out of the ordinary, we encourage you to contact the Kamloops RCMP or Crime-stoppers.
Every Saturday for the next 5 weeks, we will have someone that will sign in/out volunteers. The hours will be 10-4. You are certainly welcome to search outside those hours of course. The Command Center building will be operational until July 1st. Its location is still at the P2 parking lot. After that, we will have a tent set up in the same place. There may be Sunday’s that we will have someone manning Command Center. They will post on this page to keep everyone updated.
We want to thank everyone that lent us equipment to aid in the search. If you still have snowshoes with us, or other items, please take a moment to make arrangements to pick them up.
I will never be able to express our heartfelt gratitude and love to everyone. You have given so much to us, whether you came to search, you raised awareness, generously donated your homes and equipment, donated to the Gofund me, prayed or sent well wishes. Every single thing allowed Scott and I do the one thing we needed to do most in this world: search for Ryan. We are his advocates. You became ours.
We are not done yet. We haven’t found our son. We won’t give up until we do. Don’t give up on us. Continue to do what you do best. If what you can do is all you can do, then it is all we need.
This is just an update. Nothing has changed. We will continue to search. Our friends and loved ones will be here as well searching in our absence. I will continue to post.
