Beginnings and endings.

There is a certain amount of fear and trepidation in both, I suppose.

Neither knows what the outcome can truly be. You just have faith that in the end, all will be well.

Tonight, Scott, Jordyn, Julianna, Max and I had the privilege, along, with our family and friends to say thank you to this community that has embraced us as one of their own.

February 17th was, without a doubt, a parents worse nightmare. It is not far from my thoughts, that our journey has been unforgiving and heartbreaking. Such a tragedy, to be sure.

And yet.

We have become closer as a family.

Our friends, forged of steel and fire have given us the strength to do what needs to be done. Each day.

We have met some incredible people that we are honored to now call friends.

We have felt the awakening of this community mindfulness that seems to span from coast to coast.

21 years ago, we gave birth to this beautiful baby boy. He has forever impacted us. But as I watch each day, people gathering to help us and one another, I have come to realize that Ryan has impacted all of you.

Even in endings, there can be beautiful beginnings.
