Souls meant to be together will always find a way.
The love of a partner, the unconditional feeling of belonging that comes from a child or from a parent, even the lasting bonds that come from strong friendships; to me are some of the most powerful connections we have the privilege to make.
But friendships are the truest expressions of yourself. Whether it is one or a hundred, having kindred spirits that celebrate all that you are, honour your authenticity, stand beside you during your darkest hours and find a way to show you the purity of happiness are priceless treasures.
I miss my love bugs so much. But happy that there are still ways to get together.
Not going to lie though … it was a lengthy bike ride. Note to self : It is hard to get back “in the saddle” so to speak after a glass of rose. Not undoable ; just more difficult.
